Based on posts from before, it seems like these are likely barracuda drives inside, so with a 100 day per year power on rating it's probably not great for a NAS, but if you're using it as a USB external as intended then this could work for you.

On a tangential note, for some reason, the slickdeals search seems to only sometimes pull up the previous deal. Not sure what's going on there.
