These business version Surface Pro 11s with Intel processors are very hard for regular consumers to find and buy. B&H sells the same models but at significantly higher prices. Notably, (1) the computer takes up to 3 weeks to ship and (2) the store gives "Bruin Rewards," which can be used in increments of up to 1,000 points ($50).
Very little information is provided on UCLA Store regarding the specifications, so I recommend researching the specs elsewhere. I read that the Ultra 5 version does not come with an OLED screen like the Ultra 7 version. Also, I believe that the SSD should be easily upgradeable like the consumer (Snapdragon) Surface Pro 11; however, this is difficult to verify. If anyone has better information, I welcome you to share it.
Full disclosure, I am a UCLA alum (Go Bruins!) - but I have no other connection to the UCLA Store - and the links here are not referral links. I did check some other university stores (UC Davis, UCSD, Georgetown) and did not find similar deals.
I also noticed that UCLA Store's M4 MacBook Air price (minimum specs) is $849, which is the market low - but the same price can be found at various other vendors (e.g., Amazon).
